Womb Yoga: prenatal, postpartum, and
Women’s health support

Womb Yoga is a combination class for women that offers an inclusive space to build community and support the feminine experiences of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menstruation, and menopause. Adaptations are provided for each student as needed throughout the class, and our teachers are experienced in working with all the different seasons and needs of women’s health. Practice combines movement, sound, and breath to build awareness, strength, and integrated fluid movement for the pelvis, hips, and low back, as well as addressing the needs for stress management, self-care, and deep restoration. New parents are welcome to bring non-mobile babies, and we welcome women at all stages of life who wish to reconnect with the deep feminine power of the womb space and nourish their own indwelling wisdom.

Postpartum Yoga Series

Our Postpartum Yoga Series also welcomes non-mobile babies and includes many of the same practices as Womb Yoga (see above). This series differs from Womb Yoga slightly by emphasizing practices that are more specific to postpartum recovery. Yoga Nidra and breathwork are included as part of practice, and movements focus on pelvic floor and low back health as well as relieving tension from the neck, shoulders, and upper back that can accrue with breastfeeding, carrying, and holding babies. All levels are welcome, no yoga experience is necessary.

our womb yoga classes are…

  • Adaptable for pregnant and postpartum students, no matter what stage you are in of your journey

  • Nourishing for body, mind, and heart to replenish your energy and reconnect you to your deepest sense of wellbeing and ease

  • Empowering: By taking the time to reconnect with yourself and your indwelling wisdom, you are building skills and power to navigate your journey with confidence and authority.

  • Inclusive: No yoga experience is necessary and there is no deadline on how long you can come to this class. We welcome women at any stage of their pregnancy or parenting journey.
